Membership is open to anyone in the Dry Cleaning, Laundry and coin operated industries and allied trades.
Present membership is comprised of Directors, Managers, Technicians, Supervisors and Students of which, many are owners of Dry Cleaning and Laundry establishments who maintain the traditions of "Master Of The Craft".
All of which are at local Guild meetings and are all willing to help fellow members with advice for any areas of Dry Cleaning and Laundering.

Members of the Guild of Cleaners and Launderers commit themselves to the ideas of high standards of professional conduct, which protects the interests of customers and safeguards the right of the public. This is achieved by a continuing quest for professionalism, through competent service to the customer and moral integrity, dedicating members to welfare of the public through environmentally sound practices.

There are also regaular update for the dry cleaners and help information if you are failing to keep up within the Solvent Emissions Directive.
So as our members fully benefit from this commitment we have completely rebranded our image and produced a comprehensive selection of support material.

Levels of the industry training and qualification are achievable through this scheme in the categories of Dry Cleaning, Wet Cleaning, Stain Removal, Garment Finishing and Retail Sales. In addition, we have a renewed commitment to actively promote our association with the textile care industries through an ongoing press campaign, both consumer and trade and through publication of regular newsletters, posters, information sheets and exhibition displays. We also provide our members with all the necessary brand identity for screen and print use.
