The exhibition, running with the conference, has a record number of exhibitors. With an additional pre-conference dinner on Saturday 6th of September, plus entertainment, at an additional cost. The Guild Pushes Training.
A week long Laundry Technology Residential Training Course to be held in Rugby commencing on the 27th of October 2014. Interested delegates should contact firstname.lastname@example.org There are still a few places available.
Also, announced at the Guild Council Meeting during April is a series of Practical Dry Cleaning Skills Training Courses to be held in various regions of the UK. Watch out for further announcements.
Guild Conference in Nottingham, during February 2014. "Stepping into the Future" was a tremendous success with almost 100 delegates attending. We are working on putting the highlights of the presentations from speakers into the members area. Available soon you will be able to access video content of the Conference papers on You Tube.
LCT Cleanex Exhibition - April 27/28th 2014 - was also a success judging by the number of visitors. An added attraction this time was the inclusion of demonstrations on stain removal on the stand, which proved to be popular. Guild Officials attended to visitors selling text books and the advantages of Guild membership. The Secretariat has now the task of contacting the 27 visitors who expressed an interest in joining the Guild. We wish them a hearty welcome.

Sunday Stain Removal Training Sessions are being organised please e-mail your interest to email@example.com. We need eight bookings, plus suitable premises in an area, to be viable. Taking bookings now for all areas of the UK. At present we are putting lists together for the North West, Scotland and South East of London. Northwest to be held at Fylde Coast Service Centre, Lytham St Annes, Lancashire
Both the previous sessions held in Chorley, Lancashire, in June, and Reigate, Surrey, in September, were highly successful and popular events.
We are now looking forward to taking bookings for the next event.
A very successful Conference and Exhibition took place in Falkirk in September 2013, and in October delegates attended a Guild Seminar in Wetherby to join in an interesting session featuring a panel of excellent speakers.

Ask The Experts
Members of the Guild can now use the members area of the website and have access to our new Ask The Experts Section.
You can submit questions and ask advice on all aspects of your dry cleaning and laundry business.
We will post the questions and answers on the website so it build into a valuable information resource for you to access at any time.
Some of these questions and answers will also be used in another new service for members called 'Talking Point' where tips and tricks from experienced members can be shared within the Guild network of professionals who care about our industry and their business.
